The Quincy Public Schools Foundation will host a “Week to Dream Big” fundraiser November 1-5 to support their Dream Big Annual Campaign.

Kick-off will be celebrated at Carter’s Coffee Bar on Monday morning as part of “Dine to Dream Big,” with local restaurant owners donating a percentage of their day’s proceeds to the QPS Foundation’s Campaign.

“When you give back, you become a part of a group whose dedication and generosity have a profound and immediate effect on QPS students and the community,” Lagé Brevitz, Week to Dream Big planning committee member, said. “Funds from the Dream Big [Annual] Campaign support current and future students by creating life-changing opportunities. The funds also provide grants to outstanding QPS educators so they can provide the resources needed to empower students to achieve their goals, inside and outside the classroom, and broaden their impact on the world.”

The QPS Foundation will also fundraise during Week to Dream Big through a virtual auction, raffle and Blue Devil merchandise, all of which may be viewed during the week by accessing OneCause through the QPS Foundation website, qpsfoundation.org.

The week will conclude with a food truck festival and live stream broadcast at Flinn Stadium on Friday, November 5. Food trucks will be at the Stadium, rain or shine, 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A broadcast will begin streaming at 7 p.m. on Facebook and YouTube and will include a review of select auction items, raffle drawing and announcement of the 2021 Dream Big Award winner.

Gifts to the Dream Big Campaign should be made to QPS Foundation and can be sent via postal mail to the Foundation office at Quincy Senior High School or online via the Foundation’s website, qpsfoundation.org. Mobile device users may donate by texting “QPSF” to 44-321. Find the Foundation on Facebook at www.facebook.com/QPSFoundation or their YouTube channel “QPS Foundation.”
