Class of 1960! It’s hard to believe it’s been more than six decades since you walked across the stage as proud Quincy Blue Devils, stepping into a world filled with both tradition and change. Today, you have a meaningful opportunity to come together once again—this time, to create a lasting legacy through the Class Circles Challenge.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of an individual from your class, the Class of 1960 Circle is now fully funded at the $10,000 goal! This fund, inspired by the lifelong impact Quincy Public Schools had on your generation, is active and growing—ready to make a real and lasting difference for today’s students. Your senior year unfolded during a time of defining events. In 1960, the nation looked to the future as John F. Kennedy launched a bold presidential campaign, while the Civil Rights Movement gained strength through courageous acts of peaceful protest. Families across the country gathered around black-and-white televisions to watch Leave It to Beaver, and teenagers danced to the latest hits from Elvis Presley.

Culturally and historically, 1960 was a turning point—and so were you. At Quincy High, your class embodied the hope, discipline, and post-war optimism of the era. Whether in the classroom, on stage, in athletics, or through community service, the Class of 1960 stood out for its character, leadership, and deep commitment to one another.
