Class of 2002 Circle Challenge

Area of Greatest Need, Class Circle

Established Circle of Investment

Class of 2002! It’s been over two decades since you walked across the stage as proud Quincy Blue Devils, stepping into a world on the brink of transformation. Now, you have the opportunity to come together again—not just to reflect on the memories that shaped you, but to create a legacy that uplifts future generations.

Through the Class Circles Challenge, your class can raise $10,000 to establish a permanent endowed fund—your Class Circle—that will benefit Quincy Public Schools students for years to come. This fund will support critical needs like access to technology, mental health resources, arts and music education, athletics, and college and career readiness. It’s a powerful way to give back to the community that helped launch you.

Thanks to the generous support of a classmate, your Class Circle is already taking shape. But this is only the beginning. Every gift—large or small—builds momentum and expands the impact of your class’s legacy. Together, you can strengthen the foundation for the school system that shaped so many lives.

Your senior year was filled with standout moments. In the fall of 2001, the QHS Theatre Department performed Oklahoma! with heart and talent. That same year, the QHS Music Department rang in the New Year at Disney World, showcasing the spirit of your class. Across academics, athletics, and student life, you embodied pride, unity, and resilience.

Meanwhile, the world was shifting. In the wake of September 11, 2001, the country came together with renewed determination, leading to the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Internationally, the Euro was introduced, and the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics inspired global unity.

Culturally, 2002 made its mark. Kelly Clarkson’s American Idol win launched a new era of stardom. Films like Spider-Man, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets filled theaters. Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” became an anthem of perseverance, and The Osbournes redefined reality TV.

The Class of 2002 mirrored the spirit of the times—embracing change and forging lasting bonds. Whether on the athletic fields, in classrooms, or through service, you set a standard of adaptability and excellence.

Now, it’s time to rally that same spirit. Reach out to classmates—teammates, performers, student leaders, and lifelong friends—and invite them to support the Class Circles Challenge.

Every contribution, no matter the size, moves the Class of 2002 closer to completing your Circle. You can track your progress online and celebrate each milestone as you build a lasting legacy.

By supporting your Class Circle, you’re celebrating the opportunities and memories that shaped your QHS journey. Let’s prove that the Class of 2002 remains united, generous, and dedicated to empowering the next generation of Blue Devils.
