Class of 2008! It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 20 years since you crossed the stage at Flinn Stadium—filled with excitement and optimism—as you stepped into the next chapter of your lives. Now, as proud Quincy High School alumni, you have a special opportunity to come together and create a lasting legacy.

By raising $10,000, the Class of 2008 can establish a permanent endowed fund—your Class Circle—to support Quincy Public Schools students for years to come. This initiative is more than a fundraiser; it’s a way to honor your shared experiences and pay it forward to students walking the same halls you once did.

Your Class Circle will provide vital resources: access to technology, arts and music education, mental health services, athletics, and college and career readiness. Every Blue Devil deserves the opportunity to thrive—and your support can help make that possible.

The 2007–2008 school year was filled with memorable accomplishments. You were a class of innovators, leaders, and friends—ready to leave a mark on the world.

And what a world it was in 2008. That year marked a historic shift with Barack Obama elected as the first African American President of the United States, sparking hope and change across the nation. Meanwhile, the global financial crisis shook economies and futures. In sports, Michael Phelps won eight gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, setting an Olympic record and inspiring millions.

That same year, the App Store launched, forever changing how we use mobile technology and ushering in a new digital era. These events helped define the world you were stepping into—and now, you have the opportunity to shape the environment for students following in your footsteps.
