Class of 2016 Circle Challenge
Established Circle of Investment
Class of 2016! It has been nearly a decade since you crossed the stage at Flinn Stadium—filled with excitement and optimism—as you stepped into the next chapter of your lives. Now, as proud Quincy High School alumni, you have a special opportunity to come together and create a lasting legacy.
By raising $10,000, your class can establish a permanent endowed fund—your Class Circle—to support Quincy Public Schools students for generations to come. This fund will provide vital resources like technology access, arts and music education, mental health support, athletics, and college and career readiness.
Your Class Circle has not yet been started, but it begins with you. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps build a more equitable and empowered learning environment for future Blue Devils.
Your senior year at QHS was full of energy, accomplishments, and unforgettable memories. Whether you were on stage, on the field, leading in student organizations, or celebrating in classrooms and hallways, the Class of 2016 embodied creativity, resilience, and school pride.
Beyond Quincy, 2016 was a year of global milestones and cultural shifts. Stranger Things became a Netflix sensation, Beyoncé’s Lemonade delivered a cultural and visual masterpiece, and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton continued to break records and redefine Broadway. In music, hits like “Closer,” “Work,” and “One Dance” dominated playlists and dances alike.
In sports, the Chicago Cubs broke a 108-year drought to win the World Series in an epic Game 7 that felt like a movie. The Cleveland Cavaliers made history too, coming back from a 3–1 deficit to win the NBA Finals, led by hometown hero LeBron James. At the Rio Olympics, athletes like Simone Biles and Michael Phelps amazed the world with their performances and perseverance.
Meanwhile, technology was shaping the way you communicated and experienced life. Pokémon GO had people chasing digital creatures across real-world streets. Instagram Stories debuted, Snapchat filters became part of daily conversations, and “going live” was the new normal.
Now it’s your turn to shape what comes next. By supporting your Class Circle, you’ll help fund meaningful opportunities for students and ensure that the legacy of the Class of 2016 lives on at Quincy High. In doing so, you also celebrate the experiences and memories that defined your QHS journey. Let’s show that the Class of 2016 remains united, generous, and committed to empowering the next generation of Blue Devils.
