Class of 2018 Circle Challenge

Area of Greatest Need, Class Circle

Established Circle of Investment

Class of 2018! It’s hard to believe that it has already been seven years since you graduated from Quincy High School, walking across the stage as proud Blue Devils and stepping into a world full of change and possibility. Now, as proud Quincy High School alumni, you have a special opportunity to come together and create a lasting legacy.

Your class can raise $10,000 to establish a permanent endowed fund—your Class Circle—to support Quincy Public Schools students for generations to come. This fund will provide essential resources in technology access, arts and music education, mental health support, athletics, and career and college readiness.

Your Class Circle has not yet been started, but it begins with you. Every contribution, no matter the size, builds a legacy of opportunity and support for future Blue Devils.

The Class of 2018 was known for its creativity, leadership, and spirit. Whether you were performing in concerts and plays, winning championships on the field, building community through clubs and service, or showing up for one another day after day—you left your mark on QHS in unforgettable ways.

The world you graduated into was full of powerful headlines and cultural moments. In March 2018, students across the country led the March for Our Lives, demanding action on gun violence and school safety. A royal wedding captured global attention as Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, and headlines were filled with movements like #MeToo, challenging the status quo and pushing for justice and equality.

In pop culture, Black Panther became a global phenomenon and cultural milestone, breaking box office records and redefining superhero cinema. Avengers: Infinity War had fans everywhere on edge, and A Star Is Born brought Lady Gaga’s acting debut to center stage. Musically, artists like Drake, Cardi B, and Ariana Grande defined the year’s soundtrack, and TikTok was quickly becoming a household name.

In sports, the Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl, the Washington Capitals captured the Stanley Cup, and France took home the FIFA World Cup in Russia. On the courts, the Golden State Warriors dominated again, and Serena Williams made headlines with her powerful return to Grand Slam tennis.

Technology continued to evolve how we connect and learn. Smartphones, streaming, social media, and apps like TikTok were changing culture in real time. You were the first wave of graduates to fully grow up with digital tools shaping your day-to-day life—and the way you told your story.

Now, it’s your turn to shape the future. By contributing to your Class Circle, you’ll help ensure today’s students have the tools, support, and inspiration to thrive—just like you did.

By supporting your Class Circle, you celebrate the opportunities and memories that shaped your QHS journey. Let’s show that the Class of 2018 remains united, generous, and committed to empowering the next generation of Blue Devils.
