Class of 2025!
As the Quincy High School Class of 2025 prepares to take its final bow, you have a unique opportunity to leave a lasting legacy through the Class Circles. By raising $10,000, our class can create a permanent endowed fund—our own Class Circle—that will support future generations of Quincy Public Schools students. This fund will enhance educational programs, provide critical technological tools, and supply essential classroom resources, ensuring that every student is equipped to succeed. Your contribution isn’t just a gift; it’s an investment in the future of our schools and our community.
Your senior year was marked by remarkable achievements and memorable events. In November 2024, the QHS Theatre Department presented the classic musical Hello, Dolly!, featuring junior Caleigh Twaddle as Dolly Gallagher Levi and senior Richard Coleman as Horace Vandergelder. The production showcased the immense talent within your class and highlighted the vibrant arts culture at Quincy High School.
October 2024 brought the 28th Annual Quincy Senior High School Octoberfest, a cherished tradition celebrating music and community spirit. The event featured a parade down Quincy’s historic Maine Street and a field competition at Flinn Memorial Stadium, with performances by 25 marching bands from Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. The University of Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band concluded the evening with a special guest performance, adding to the day’s excitement.
Adding to the year’s highlights, senior Titus Petty embodied school spirit by serving as the Blue Devil mascot. Known for his dynamic presence, Petty energized the crowd at home basketball games, donning the iconic costume and carrying the flaming pitchfork during pregame ceremonies. His dual role as a defensive back on the football team and the school’s spirited mascot exemplified the dedication and pride of the Class of 2025.
Now is the time to channel that same passion and unity into creating a lasting legacy. Reach out to your classmates—teammates, performers, student leaders, and lifelong friends—and invite them to support the Class Circles Challenge. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings the Class of 2025 closer to completing your Circle. By supporting your Class Circle, you’ll help fund critical programs for today’s students, including technology access, arts and music education, athletics, mental health resources, and career development. Your contributions will ensure that the opportunities and spirit you cherished in 2025 continue to inspire and uplift every future Blue Devil.
