Paul Hentzel Scholarship
Established Circle of Investment
This fund was started by Paul Hentzel, Class of 1955. The intention of this scholarship is to recognize students with academic potential who need financial assistance to attend college.
The Paul Hentzel Scholarship is a 4-year scholarship award. Each recipient receives $2,500/year, totaling $10,000 over four years of collegiate schooling. Students are eligible for this scholarship through their participation in the Career & College Readiness class, a three year class at Quincy Senior High School. Students must show high-aptitude and financial need to qualify for this award. One student is selected for this award each year.
Requirements:
- Be attending a 4-year post secondary institution.
- Have a 3.0 or higher accumulative GPA.
- Exhibit academic potential based on standardized test scores and teacher recommendations.
- Demonstrate financial need based on family income.
- Enrolled and participating in the Career and College Readiness program.
- Involved in extra-curricular activities.
- Demonstrates good citizenship through conduct and attendance.
