COVID-19 Update: We are excited to bring back our Dream Big in Color Fun Run this year. Due to COVID restrictions and policies within the school district, we will not be gathering at QHS to start the run. We encourage friends and family to support the district by participating on their own. T-shirts and color powder will be provided with your run packet. Our highest priority is the safety of our participants and compliance with state and federal directives to keep our community safe. Thank you for your patience and support!

This 5K untimed virtual run has been created as a fundraiser just for colorful, fun families in support of the Quincy Public Schools!  2021 marks the 8th Anniversary of the annual QPS Foundation's DREAM BIG in Color 5K Fun Run!  Join in for the most colorful VIRTUAL event in the Quincy area. It is sure to leave you feeling six shades of happiness!  

T-Shirts and Color Powder Provided!
This year, each registrant will be provided a 2021 Dream Big in Color T-Shirt and four packets of food-grade biodegradable color powder to enjoy throwing with their family and friends.

Adult registration is only $25 and registration for youth, from ages four to 18,  is only $10. Get the whole family to enjoy the fun!

Use our traditional route or create your own!
We'll provide the map of our traditional 5K route with mile markers, but you are free to create your own route!

Color Run 24RULES OF PARTICIPATION

All participants are expected to follow these general rules of participation.

1) Please do not throw color on anyone who does not want it.

2) Do not throw color in anyone’s face or eyes.

3) Be respectful of private property, homes, and businesses.

4) Do not throw color anywhere other than on participants.

5) It is not recommended to bring pets due to the nature of the color run. Please do not bring your pet. You are solely responsible for the behavior of your pet at all times.

6) This is not an officially timed event. We recommend self-timing if you desire.

7) Quincy Public Schools, the Quincy Public Schools Foundation and the volunteer event organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property of participants.

8) No refunds will be given in the event of participant cancelation. The logistics of organizing and coordinating the event make it impossible.

The mission of the Quincy Public Schools Foundation is to acquire and distribute financial and other resources for the enrichment of academic programs and other projects aimed at fulfilling the mission of the Quincy Public School District.
