Quincy Public Schools Foundation Names Dr. George Crickard III Trustee Emeritus

The Quincy Public Schools Foundation proudly announces the designation of Dr. George Crickard III as Trustee Emeritus in recognition of his dedicated service and lasting contributions to the Foundation and Quincy Public Schools.
Dr. Crickard has faithfully served twenty-four years as a Trustee-at-Large for the QPS Foundation, providing leadership, guidance, and unwavering support for the Foundation’s mission to enhance educational opportunities for Quincy students and educators. Throughout his tenure, he has been a steadfast advocate for public education and a valued voice in advancing the Foundation’s impact within the community.
“Dr. Crickard’s commitment to Quincy Public Schools and the Foundation has left a meaningful legacy,” said Heidi Lanier, executive director. “His leadership, generosity of spirit, and dedication to student success have strengthened our organization and helped advance opportunities for countless students.”
The honorary title of Trustee Emeritus is bestowed upon individuals whose distinguished service and enduring commitment have significantly benefited the Foundation. As Trustee Emeritus, Dr. Crickard will continue to be recognized as an important member of the QPS Foundation organization.
